Our story began with Thomas and Mary Lou Smithmyer's passion for farming and their dedication to growing high-quality crops. Today, the second and third generations of the family is continuing their legacy by focusing on sustainable farming practices and providing visitors with an unforgettable agrotourism experience. We invite you to come and explore our sunflower maze, pick-out pumpkins, and experience the beauty of our farm.
Our Story
Local Family Farm
This family-owned and operated farm has been growing and harvesting crops and experiences since 1965. Established by Thomas and Mary Lou Smithmyer, the farm started with potatoes as its main crop. Together, they had 14 children who grew alongside the farm. Tom took pride in leaving a legacy of farming, faith, and family for his children, grandchildren (35), and great-grandchildren (8). Today, the second and third generations honor that by focusing on community and agrotourism to keep his legacy alive.
